Character Information
Name: Leona
Canon: League of Legends
Canon Point: Canon point is kind of a vague thing in League of Legends. All the stuff in her backstory is in the past, but she is still searching for Diana.
Age: None given officially but let's say 27
History: Leona's backstory. If you want, you can also check out the pages on Mt. Targon and Diana, which are also significant.
Personality: Leona was raised on the slopes of Mt. Targon, one of the harshest lands anywhere in her homeworld where humans still live. On top of that, she was born into a fierce and warlike culture. Life has been an endless test for her, pushing her resilience and strength to their limits for as long as she has been alive. This rough life has colored her view of the world with violence and left her with a confrontational and stubborn attitude. She will fight for what she believes in whether it needs to be fought for or not. She was raised to fight and kill without hesitation and she is very good at both.
As a Rakkor and a member of the Solari, Leona has an enormous amount of religious reverence for the sun. All other sources of light are, at best, pale imitations. She also believes that the there were many worlds that lived before this one, but they all fell to darkness. According to Solari scripture, this world is the "last sun", and there will be no rebirths should their world fall. The Solari preach that battle is an act of devotion to protect and empower the sun. As such, Leona and the rest of the Solari fight with a particularly grim intensity against anything that threatens their world.
However there is a seed of mercy and doubt, nestled between the endless warrior's training and the religious indoctrination. Despite a lifetime of being taught that all the inhuman creatures that descend the mountain are monsters and must be destroyed, Leona helped one that looked like a lonely child. Despite Diana having murdered the ruling elders of the Solari, Leona was willing to consider the possibility that their unusual circumstances might be a sign of something more important than her personal vendetta. She's usually willing to look past her first reaction and actually consider the situation despite showing some signs as initially coming across as a Zealot.
The weird thing about Leona is that she is not alone in her own head. In her mind lives a tiny sliver of a vast and powerful entity that watches her every action. Unlike some other like her, this sliver did not overwrite her own will and personality, but she can still feel it trying to influence her, and what it wants her to do is to burn. It gives her great power, but also constantly tries to break out of her control and let her powers run wild. It is a violent thing that feels joyous rapture whenever Leona uses it, and revels whenever she kills with it. Leona has it under control, and is perfectly willing to use its power in battle when she needs to, but its presence does sometimes leave her slightly on edge or self-conscious. Though the entity does not talk to her directly and may not even be intelligent in a way a human can understand, it IS kind of like always being watched by the family dog.
While initially she hated Diana for what she did, Leona now recognizes that her dark counterpart is essentially the only person in existance who could possibly understand what has happened to her. After the murder of the Solari elders, Leona's goal was to hunt Diana down and bring her to justice. After her climb to the top of Mt. Targon she still seeks Diana, but as a reluctant partner rather than a victim.
Abilities: Leona has traind as a warrior since she was able to walk, and is REALLY good at fucking people up with sword and shield specifically, but is fully proficient with many other types of weapons. She's also a skilled battlefield commander as the leader of the Ra-Horak (the militant branch of the Solari, a group of sun worshippers.), leading and inspiring her fellow warriors from the front lines, or organizing their training regimens and such between battles.
In addition to that, Leona has a celestial aspect that lives in her mind. A sliver of some incomprehensibly vast and powerful entity. This particular aspect represents the Sun. The aspect allows her to increase her physical strength or to use superhuman senses (Canon mentions her being able to see a man's heart beat through his chest and listen to his blood in his veins.), but its main power is that of heat and light. Through Leona, the aspect can make her or anything she touches glow with brilliant light or emit waves of furnace like heat, or just straight up shoot fire directly from her body. It can also shoot rays of fire from the sky as long as the sun is up.
Strengths: Courageous, Merciful, Disciplined, Selfless, Confident
Weaknesses: Violent, Arrogant, Demanding, Ignorant, Short-Sighted
God/Shinki: God
Why?: Leona is already possibly semi-divine, with the celestial aspect of the sun lurking within her flesh. She also has very clearly defined character aspects that translate well over to being God Of something (Sun, War). She also has experience as a military commander and is used to being in a position with authority.
Top 3 Choices: Sol, Aurora, or Dagr.
God Type: Leona is a goddess of War and a goddess of Light. She offers courage to those who must make difficult choices, safety to those who cannot defend themselves, or dedication to those who have to do an unpleasant task. She also offers light in dark times (whether it's a literal or figurative darkness) or strength to warriors in battle (again, whether it's a literal or figurative battle).
Power: Solar Powered Strength. Leona grows more and more physically powerful the brighter it is outside. She achieves peak strength at noon on a clear summer day.

Anything Else?: As mentioned a few times throughtout this app, Leona is a passenger in her head. Strictly speaking it is not HER, but it's a big part of what drives and motivates her, so I'm hoping there's no problem with keeping this thing there. Effectively all it does is powers Leona's supernatural abilities and complicates her inner monologue.
